Our law firm traces its origin to C. Edwin Allman, Jr. who came to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1962 to begin his practice of law. It was his vision to assemble a small group of exceptionally talented attorneys who shared certain core values beyond simply providing high-quality legal services. Mr. Allman sought out other attorneys with a commitment to improve the quality of life in the community and state; a dedication to personal professional development and growth; a dedication to establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships; and above all, a commitment to conduct the practice of law with the highest degree of personal and professional integrity.

Building lasting relationships with our clients has been and remains one of the hallmarks of our firm. Earning and maintaining the confidence of every client has been a challenge our lawyers have met successfully time and time again.

At Allman Spry Leggett & Crumpler, P.A., clients will not see large teams of associate attorneys. What we offer is personal attention from highly experienced lawyers, paralegals and professional staff members. All of our paralegals are board-certified by the North Carolina State Bar.

We use a collaborative approach to most legal matters. Our attorneys consult with their colleagues who practice in other areas of the law to ensure that an issue is thoroughly examined and analyzed from all viewpoints. This interdisciplinary team approach is designed to deliver high-quality, cost effective legal services to our clients - what we refer to as providing "big city" expertise with "small town" service.

In addition, we count among our lawyers one who has served the State of North Carolina in an appointed public policy position and who also served as chairman of one of the State’s regulatory oversight commissions.
